    I’m not sure that counts as a dork question, but rather a pretty good one.  Better than just saying, “I think your music is really awesome” over an over agin, which is what star-stuck me probably would have done.Report

    This reminds me of Glenn Frey meets the Kingston Trio (none of that is intended to be disparaging in case anyone wondered).

    In general, from say the middle 90s on, there was a lotta really really good alt-country stuff out there, but I can’t think of any of the acts that ever made it really big. I suspect that really was a case where the music, especially the poetic content, was too sophisticated to play for mass audiences.Report
