    Have there been major laws passed recently? Like, serious Labor victories?

    Because I think that the cycle goes something like this:

    Tories are fuddy duddies who say “okay, now let’s stop changing things” and this has started sounding seriously something-ist.
    Labor gets elected.
    Labor passes a bunch of laws rectifying the something-ist policies cherished by the Tories.
    Labor overreaches and passes a couple of laws that are just weird and way out there.
    Tories are fuddy duddies who say “okay, now let’s stop changing things” and this sounds pretty good.
