So I remembered that Person of Interest was doing its thing already this year and fiddled about on my PS4 to look and see if Amazon Prime had its shows available. I saw that while the shows were not free ($1.99 each), the shows were *ALL* there. All of them.
Which told me that it had finished its run and… well, the show had wrapped up. So I called to Maribou, who was using the computer, and asked her to check to see when the box set of the season was coming out.
AND SHE SAID THAT IT WAS RELEASED ON THE 19TH OF JULY!!!
So we ordered it and it should be here in time for us to do a bingewatch next weekend.
Please, if you want to discuss what happens in the final season beyond “OH MY GOSH IT WAS AWESOME”, I beg that you use the spoiler tags.
If, for some reason, you don’t remember me talking about this (awesome) show before, the short version is that it’s Competence Porn. They split Batman up into two characters: the really, really smart billionaire and the really, really skilled Special Ops guy. Together they fight crime! The first season is a pleasant procedural that will have you say “huh, that was pretty good (but forgettable)” but by the end of the 2nd Season you’ll be saying “huh… this is pretty good” and by the end of the third? “HOLY CRAP THIS IS AN AWESOME SHOW!!!”
By the end of the fourth, you’ll be wondering how in the heck they got *THERE* from the absolutely non-challenging first season of the show.
So… what are you reading and/or watching?
