      Do you mean that they actually expressed the content of the ad (less government, lower taxes…) or that they presented themselves as folks who aren’t power hungry because they advocate less government, lower taxes?Report

        Gerald is show talking specifics about tax rates, expected revenue, adding cards to transit and thinking through whether that has a real impact on the majority of the commuter’s travel times, etc. This is what gov’t is supposed to be doing. Looking at issues, analyzing, weighing offsets etc. You know, doing the people’s work. Not fund raising, helping cronies get positions of power, selling seats, making back door deals…..Report

      The criminal complaint states that Daugherty admitted in the deposition that he uses his personal cell phone account for county business, that he used a laptop computer for county business and donated the computer without saving messages on it, that he deleted messages from his Travis County e-mail address relevant to SH45, and that he deleted text messages referencing county business.
