Perhaps I’m just finally showing my raging liberal/lefty stripes, or perhaps I’ve just utterly bought into the Cult of Obama, or perhaps I’m just Canadian and don’t understand these things, but it occurs to me that anyone and everyone who is furiously hand waving over “bowgate” is engage in a gigantic political Freudian slip about the fact that they have absolutely nothing of any substance to offer on the myriad of overwhelming challenges that America currently faces.

We, in the United States, fought two wars to gain our liberty from a Monarchy. We are not Canadians, nor do we ever want to be. Our President and members of the military and government are supposed to bow TOO NO-ONE. This idiot of a President is so removed from the real world, the fact he did this is just horific.
Well, your previous President used questionable means of getting you into an ill-advised war that has sapped your military strength and morale, infringed upon your citizens’ civil liberties, and authorized the use of torture techniques, so if you actually choose to see Obama greeting another head of state in a culturally competent manner as horrific (which I don’t, personally) then it rates pretty low on the relative scale, t. Trust me, on the whole you’re still winning.
