Just to prove that I’m not wholly averse to a little well-placed snark now and again, me to Mark (and Dave and Erik) via email earlier,
Uh, how about it’s beneath you to debate with someone calling themselves “name redacted“. Are we bloggers or tweens on Twitter?

I can think of several people that fall under that statement. Funny email for sure. :D
I’m not familiar with this name redacted commenter, but back room dissing is always empowering.
Mike, wasn’t directed at a commenter on this site but a different blogger altogether. I’m not given to much snark in general and particularly not about our commenters. And while I have voiced frustration from time to time behind closed doors, I like to think I usually do it with a requisite degree of sincerity and earnestness when it comes to folks who patronize this site.
Yeah, Mike, it was definitely not in reference to anyone who comments at this site. Let’s just say I had made the mistake of wading into the fever swamps of the blogosphere and was mulling over a response post out of frustration with some really bad uses of statistics.
No problem, I commented before thinking — a bad habit of mine.
Pas du problem, mon ami. Clarification was in order.
