With the gangbusters opening of Hangover and the colossal box office failure of Land of the Lost, I thought what better time to play my all time favorite clip from Old School (another Todd Philipps comedic gem). I don’t know why but I crack up every time I see this one:
Borat: “I do a picture, only small, of the Tishnik Masacre. Where many Uzbeks…crushed!”
Kindly Gray Hippie: “How did you feel when you drew this?”
Borat: “Very proud!”.
KGH: “I’m just listening with sadness…a little sadness for your people…?”
Borat: “Yes…no, it is not sad. It is us who do the kill!”
When in doubt,

These ‘Frat-Pack’ brand of films are annoyingly overrated. I would need dangerous amounts of alcohol to find Old School/Wedding Crashers etc even remotely amusing.
Semra,
Maybe it’s a guy thing. I still think this is the best of that genre such as it is–the so-called Smart Dumb comedies. As opposed to the Dumb Dumb comedies of the 90s (Farrelly Bros. flicks).
‘There’s something about Mary’ by the Farrelly bros. would actually be my definition of a ‘smart-dumb’ comedy.
