Easy Like Sunday Morning: Drunken Sunday Morning Edition
by Scott H. Payne on June 14, 2009
Does a drunken Tiger love his cage?
When he’s sober, the cage feels like home.
It feels comfortable and the mantra is sacrafice for principle.
When he’s had a few, the mantra feels like freedom at all costs.
Lying in the grass, that singular star says rage against the dying of the light.
But, home still feels like home.
And the little things feel like easy penance.

Don’t we, as a society, have a responsibility to ensure that all Tigers feel as secure as we ourselves do?
What about The Cubs?
Great post Scott. Beautiful and thought provoking. I don’t have an answer, wish I did. I’ve been thinking about your question too much.
