The man in the below video is Patrick Byrne of a blog I just recently discovered called Deep Capture. He’s also the CEO of Overstock.com.
Do any of our commenters know anything about Byrne or his quest against naked short sellers? Is the man on to something or is he off his rocker?

Why not make up your own mind? http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/07/10/overstock-com-ceo-patrick-byrne-on-the-nations-ills-being-call/
Patrick, thanks for stopping by. Believe me, I spent altogether too much time trying to wend my way through some of the articles at your blog, but I just don’t think I have either the A) finance knowledge or B) time to fact-check to come to any reasonable conclusion. I find the case very compelling but again, feel as though I’m working in waters too foreign to make up my own mind terribly well.
ED,
OK, well here’s something to look at then that will only take 2 minutes and 54 seconds.

Again, thank you for even being willing to mention DeepCapture.
Much respect,

Seems like an important story, Patrick. I hope you keep at it.
Cheers!
