I’m not a huge Ayn Rand fan, but GQ really should hire someone a bit more coherent to write their obligatory libertarian smack-down. I mean, it just isn’t very fun if the author is a bad Matt Taibbi knock-off with approximately zero interest in Rand, libertarians, or economics.

Ugh. Should I ever review a Michael Moore movie, I’ll have to remember to combine every single caricature of him and his positions that is consistently made by Rush Limbaugh, sprinkle in some unsupported potshots at every single high-profile fan of his to show how transparently evil his devotees all are (never mind if some of them started businesses that seem to do a lot of good for the world), and finish with a couple of carefully selected quotes from some of those followers that I will then paint as not only evil but also idiotic despite my lack of any expertise in the subjects related to those quotes. I will make sure to do this for over 4000 words while complaining about Moore’s penchant for long, meandering, self-important rants. This will get me published in a major national magazine.
And, writing as Limbaugh, call Moore “fat”.

That was simply unreadable…I made it through 2 paragraphs…
I’m with the “pro” team on this. That article is a hoot. And the beginning is an absolute dead-on characterization of every college-age douchebag I knew who discovered Rand in undergrad. Hilarious.
