I was an English major, so this really speaks to me. And it’s hilarious, as is everything Fry and Laurie did together. I don’t watch House, but I loved the old Jeeves and Wooster show, and their sketch comedy (which this video is taken from) is pretty brilliant. Anyways, enjoy!
That is a great clip from a great show. I’ve got Alfresco sitting at home, but haven’t watch it yet. I’ll have to do that soon (and eventually pick up Jeeves and Wooster).
Nobel Peace Prize Jury Faces Formal Inquiry Read the story here. Here’s the paragraph that would make clicking through worthwhile, if you’re still undecided:
If the Stockholm County Administrative Board, which supervises foundations in Sweden’s capital, finds that prize founder Alfred Nobel’s will is not being honored, it has the authority to suspend award decisions going back three years — though that would be unlikely and unprecedented, said Mikael Wiman, a legal expert working for the county. A Little Side Project of Mine As if I needed another blog! This one’s dedicated to translating some of the never-before-translated work of the French neo-Romantic poet Edmond Rostand, author of Cyrano de Bergerac and member of the Académie française.
Everyone knows Cyrano, of course, but much of Rostand’s lyric work has never been read in English before. I’m trying to change that, one poem at a time. ( 7 comments)

Enjoyed. Thanks!
God I love Fry and Laurie…

Laurie was Bertie Wooster. Fry was a bit too self-consciously droll to be Jeeves, but very, very funny nonetheless.
