Who Dey

My Bengals sweep The Steelers (face greginak) and go 4-0 this season against last year’ s entrants into the AFC Championship (Pittsburgh and Baltimore).  The last time we won the AFC North and made the playoffs, 4 years ago, Carson Palmer gets taken out on the first drive by a Steeler (and former Bengal) defensive end. Pittsburgh went on to win the super bowl.  This year, our star running back Cedric Benson gets hurt in the game  (hip).  We can’t make a postseason run without him.   I hope he’s alright.

Now that you’re a Canuck, Dierkes, are you allowed to root for American football teams? Shouldn’t you be rooting for the Manitoba Manglers or something?

I’m definitely an American living in Canada (not a Canuck). Ask Scott. Interestingly, I’ve run into a number of Bengal fans here in Vancouver.

And I can watch CFL but it just ain’t the same.

well that was a revolting development. but now the steelers have the rest of the league right where we want them. we’ll get a wild card and sneak up on everybody. hahaha……………….or at least that will do until i can think of something better.

the B’s played well, gotta give them that.

Congrats on YOUR Bengal’s victory! I don’t wish to pee in your punchbowl, but I would point out that the season is but a little over half way through. A long way to go and I’m not sure that the Bengals have thrown off the curse of the Bungels, though they did play ‘Steeler’ football on both sides of the line of scrimmage and therefore earned the victory.
But, we’ll see!

Well the good news is Ced Benson seems alright. The bad news, such as there is any, is that if Cincy plays Pitt in the playoffs, it’s damn near impossible to beat a very good team 3x in one season.
