Seems to me like Mr. Kleiman smacked himself, after reading the comments below his ‘Smack!’ piece. New thinking is really needed all around. Jane Hamsher may be annoying many so called ‘liberals’…but she has certainly given some attention to a real problem.
I guess Mark Kleiman actually thinks that the Bush/Obama TARP ‘bailout’ programs have saved the economy. . . right! They haven’t saved anything. Long term economic reform is in order. Things have just been reset, and Credit Default Swap based markets are not what make a “Market Economy’. Remember ‘production’ and/or ‘manufacturing’… anyone?
