Following Will’s link, I went over to the Daily Caller and took a quick skim of the “Ask Matt Labash” page, only to find my very own home country being discussed. In response to the question, “Which foreign country most deserves to have its leaders removed?”, Labash offers (emphasis mine),
Without a doubt, the country with a leader most deserving of removal is Canada. Mind you, I’m an American, so I forget who’s actually running Canada (Avril Lavigne, I think). But studies have shown Canada ranks last in significant achievements while ranking first in unwarranted moral superiority. A bloodless coup would probably benefit the country as a whole, so long as the government wasn’t taken over by more Canadians.
Sadly, that last bit probably isn’t far off the truth right now. Le sigh.
Borat: “I do a picture, only small, of the Tishnik Masacre. Where many Uzbeks…crushed!”
Kindly Gray Hippie: “How did you feel when you drew this?”
Borat: “Very proud!”.
KGH: “I’m just listening with sadness…a little sadness for your people…?”
Borat: “Yes…no, it is not sad. It is us who do the kill!”
When in doubt,

Personally, I look forward to the impending Avril Peron administration.
A snippet from question period circa the 2011 Lavigne administration:
Jack Layton: And Ms. Lavinge, isn’t true that despite a long standing history of civic consensus in Canada, you and your administration are rabidly opposed to a woman’s right to choose what happens to her body when it comes to child birth?
Avril Lavigne: Jack, Why do you have to go and make things so complicated? I see the way you’re acting like you’re somebody else gets me frustrated. Life’s like this: you fall and you crawl and you break and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty. Promise me I’m never gonna find you fake it.
Michael Ignateiff to Ralph Goodale: Whew, I’m glad she didn’t rake me over the coals like that. That girl scares the shit out of me…
Trudeau may have had a long walk in the snow, but she had a Damn Cold Night.
I can’t believe we’re discussing this, but one of the funniest/weirdest things I’ve ever seen on the CBC was Jean Crétien offering Ms Lavigne the supposed key to Canada and joking, “I wan ta be yer skayter buy!”
I’d say Avril Lavigne is a genius, if you compare how she has fiscally handled Canada’s finances compared to the United States, and she sold 30 million albums world wide by the ripe old age of 23; and she has a highly successful clothing line as well. It seems everything this young woman does turns to gold. Perhaps the United States could learn how to responsibly handle it’s own finances too. Bush handed the county over to Obama in a shambles. I guess when George Bush made the statement, “I will run this country like a corporation” he meant it…, yep he dove it in to the ground and let the big corporations pay the CEO’s big bonuses, and nearly collapsed the world economy. I would say the US is in much worse shape than Canada by far, and I am a US citizen just paying my taxes and social security dollars into a system that does not save and invest it’s citizen’s social security dollar’s but spends them as fast as it gets them, so who is is more responsible, the US or Canada? … Just Saying !!!
I think we should be more like Miley Cyrus.
Reminds me of JolBerg’s fantasies… This Labash guy doesn’t really seem that impressive.
