Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal

Patrick is an about-40 year old geek with an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a master's degree in Information Systems. He has worked in IT in Southern California since 1993, and is currently working on a Ph.D. in IS (albeit very, very slowly). He is married, with two kids, a dog, and one cat. He's been a board game player since he could walk, a poker player since he was thirteen, an amateur card-counter, and has had Strong Opinions about video games since 1980. He claims no party affiliation. Nothing he says here has anything to do with the official position of his employer or any other institution with which he may have an affiliation.
