UPDATE
From Dougherty’s post:
Turns out this handgun maker is misrepresenting itself. The Susan G. Komen Foundation has no relationship with any gun makers.
ORIGINAL POST
Apropos of Ed’s contention that the Susan G. Komen Foundation is basically a marketing apparatus dressed up in the garb of a charity, Business Insider‘s Michael Brendan Dougherty’s got an amazing find here:
Well, here’s an interesting weapon!
The Susan G. Komen Foundation, which collects and distributes money for Breast Cancer research and prevention is in the news for withdrawing its (relatively small) grant from Planned Parenthood.
So the Komen Foundation doesn’t want to be associated with the nation’s largest abortion-provider. But they don’t mind partnering up with a handgun maker.
This gun is a beauty.
It’s just too perfect, isn’t it? Like something out of a particularly overwrought section of a Michael Moore film.

Needs a Hello Kitty logo.
When I get shot, I want to get shot by this firearm. It’s adorable!

In 1994 there were very few places for my Mother & I to turn to when we had breast cancer. We dealt with the ladies of Komen .. briefly. Got a weird/not good feeling from them. We never ran in their races & we never wore (my Mother died from this hideous disease in 1997 )/wear pink.
You should update the post, since following the link shows this is a hoax (or at least not associated with Komen)
I was thinking that people would click-through and see it for themselves.
