The Better Half and I will be on the road, toddler in tow, for a somewhat indefinite period over the coming weeks. We will be attending to family matters of the hopeful and happy variety. I am too superstitious a person to comment in more detail until events have moved from “nigh” to “transpired,” but will be a bit less cagey as soon as I may. Suffice it to say, pending events are a major complicating factor in my otherwise unfettered desire to meet everyone in Vegas. Infer what you wish.
Posting will be sporadic at best. I plan to be back in the regular swing of things by the last week of next month, and perhaps even sooner if all goes well, though I do plan to pop in for comments now and then on the main page and in the other sub-blogs. In the meantime, I leave you in the capable hands of Rose, and wish everyone good health and good cheer in the coming weeks.
Russell Saunders is a pediatrician in New England. He has a husband, son, cat and dog, though not in that order. He enjoys reading, running and cooking. He would have warned the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences that James Franco was a bad idea, if only someone had asked.
Rose Woodhouse is ABD in philosophy. She will totally get that dissertation done soon, really. She teaches and is mom to a few very young 'uns, one of whom is disabled. She loves TV as more than a friend.

This is too tantalizingly juicy for me not to speculate, and there’s an obvious immediate suspicion, and even if I’m not right in the obvious guess then I wish your journey all luck.
Like Pat, I’m speculating like hell! But since this isn’t Not A Potted Plant and it isn’t Monday Trivia, I will keep my guesses to myself and wish you both all the luck in the world.
